Who is Kismet Crafts

 

Hi, my name is Lucy and I have been crafting for around 20 years.

 

From a very young age I have always loved being creative.  Whether it was drawing, painting, making models out of plasticine, designing and making cards for different occasions, if I could create something out of anything I would try!

 

This passion has stayed with me.  Over the years I have continued to try new and varied crafts.

I had a successful business with my partner designing and producing card crafting sets.  I also ran a market stall in the south of France, where I sold all handmade products (cards, knitted scarves, bags, boleros, picture frames, decorative boxes & jewellery).  I would make clothing and jewellery to order.  I learnt a lot during this time, especially how much I enjoy making jewellery!

 

I have recently started making my own beads for my jewellery using polymer clay.  This is combining two of my favourite things, which are messing about with clay and designing jewellery pieces!  I do love using different materials to create my jewellery and each one has it’s own style.

 

Not only do I make individual pieces that you can find in my shop, I also make custom pieces to order.  You can choose from one of my pre-existing designs and change individual elements of it (colour of the beads, length etc) or I can create a piece just for you.

 

Every piece I create is special to me.  I pour my heart and soul in to everything I make and, just like me, each one is a little bit different.
