Kismet Crafts is a small family business, which began by making cards as a hobby around 10 years ago, although we have always done a lot of different crafts including hand & machine knitting, tapestry, cross stitch, Brass Rubbing and sewing to name but a few!

Unfortunately due to where we live there are very few craft shops which can be anywhere from a 20 minute drive away to and hour from home. This made it very difficult for us to get hold of the right products but we persevered and we finally made the decision to open an online store selling craft products at prices we would be happy to pay ourselves. So in November 2007 we took over ownership of an online store.

We have been selling our hand made cards for many years now and have had some amazing feedback. This has spurred us on and in 2007 we were approached for a quote and sample of Wedding stationary. The Wedding stationary was made to match the wedding colours of burgundy and gold and was admired by all the guests. We also made a personalised scrapbook from their wedding photos which has so far led to three further requests for scrapbooks. Due to this success we decided to offer these services to all our regular internet customers and everyone else out there.

In 2009 we began to exhibit our Wedding Stationery lines at local Wedding Fayres, this has proved to be extremely beneficial to the business, leading to many consultations and orders for bespoke Wedding Stationery.

Our most recent and biggest adventure thought has been the opening of our very own Craft Shop. On April 24th 2010 we opened the doors to Kismet Crafts. The shop is situated on the Main Street in Pembroke. As I am writing this we are half way through day 2 of having the shop open and I am pleased to say that so far it has gone very well indeed.
